The first of five days of offspring testing began today with the foals from dressage stallions Chippendale and Bon Bravour.
Summaries are below as follows:
Chippendale (photo above)
- Uniform collection of adequately developed foals made in a very good type for dressage horses.
- The walk is pure with plenty of scope and plenty of flexibility.
- The trot is light, scopey and plenty of good behavior.
- The canter is plenty of space.
- The foals usually move uphill with a good attitude.
Bon Bravour
- Collection plenty of well-developed, long-legged foals sufficient in thedressage model built.
- The walk is pure and with sufficient scope.
- The trot and canter have plenty of scope.
- The foals should use the body more and be more constantly up through the withers during movement
These results will be processed with other test results and processed into the stallions exterior index to be published in January 2012.
An excellent result for Chippendale – a product of the Lord Leatherdale x Negro breeding lines.
